Industrial AILondonSeed

Applied Computing

Applied Computing builds multi-foundation AI models for heavy industrial operations, combining time-series, physics and chemical-engineering models rather than only language models to optimize refineries, LNG plants, petrochemical facilities and other energy infrastructure in real time. Its flagship product, Orbital, claims to use nearly all available facility data versus a small fraction captured by traditional methods. Founded in 2024 by Callum Adamson (CEO) and Dr. Sam Tukra (Chief AI Officer), the London company raised a £9 million seed round led by Stride.VC and Repeat.vc, one of the largest UK AI seed rounds, and has since taken strategic investment from engineering firm KBR.
