Arva AI provides an AI 'workforce' of agents that automate financial-crime compliance operations for banks and financial institutions, covering sanctions and screening, KYB and KYC onboarding, AML reviews and transaction monitoring. The agents are designed to handle the bulk of manual compliance review work, with the company claiming automation of a large share of screening alerts and reviews to speed up onboarding. A Y Combinator S24 company, it was co-founded in 2024 by Rhim (previously leading the financial-crime product team at Revolut Business) and Oli, and works with banks in the UK and US. It raised about $3M led by Gradient Ventures, Google's early-stage AI fund.
