et al. is a mobile app that aggregates newsletters, research papers, articles, and podcasts into a single personalised feed, using large language models to distill long-form content into short, scrollable insights with links back to the full sources. It targets professionals who want to stay on top of developments in their field without manually searching scattered sources. Founded in 2024 by Imperial College London design engineers Marie van der Klink and Carine Fattal, it is based in London and went through Y Combinator's Summer 2024 batch. The team remains small, and funding beyond the YC investment is not disclosed.
