Gecko Security is an AI security engineer that uses large language models to find and fix complex, business-logic and multi-step vulnerabilities in codebases that traditional static scanners miss. Founded in 2024 by Jeevan Jutla and Artemiy Malyshau, the London-based, Y Combinator (F24) company analyses application logic and data flows, simulates attacks to discover issues such as privilege escalation and authentication bypass, then verifies and helps remediate them. The team reports using the tool to uncover 30+ CVEs and several zero-day vulnerabilities in open-source projects like Ollama and Gradio, while cutting false positives. It has raised the standard YC seed of roughly $500K.
