Humanloop

Humanloop built an enterprise platform for developing, evaluating and managing large-language-model applications, covering prompt management, evaluation and observability to help teams ship reliable AI products. A 2020 University College London spinout that went through Y Combinator, it counted enterprise customers such as Duolingo, Gusto and Vanta. In August 2025 Anthropic acqui-hired the founding team (Raza Habib, Peter Hayes and Jordan Burgess) and around a dozen engineers, integrating their expertise into Anthropic's enterprise tooling; the deal covered people rather than Humanloop's IP or assets. The standalone Humanloop product was subsequently sunset, and the company had raised roughly $7.9M in seed funding before the acquisition.
