Microsoft
Microsoft AI's London hub, based in the Paddington office, was announced in April 2024 to advance state-of-the-art language models, their supporting infrastructure, and world-class tooling for foundation models. The hub is led by Jordan Hoffmann, a former AI scientist at Inflection and DeepMind, and reports into Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman. It works closely with Microsoft's global AI teams and partners including OpenAI. The London investment is part of Microsoft's broader multi-billion-pound commitment to UK AI infrastructure and talent.
