Mindgard is an AI security company that offers automated red teaming and security testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in AI models and applications, including large language models. A Lancaster University spinout founded in 2022, the London-based company helps organisations test their AI systems against adversarial threats before and after deployment. It was recognised as the UK's Most Innovative Cyber SME in 2024. Mindgard has raised around $11.8M total, including a £6.5M Series A led by .406 Ventures. Backers include IQ Capital, Lakestar, Atlantic Bridge, and WillowTree Investments.
