Odyssey

Odyssey is an AI lab building generative world models that produce interactive, explorable 3D environments in real time, where output is a live stream of AI-generated frames responding to user input rather than pre-rendered video. Its Explorer system generates navigable 3D scenes from text captions or 2D images. Founded in 2023 by self-driving veterans Oliver Cameron (CEO) and Jeff Hawke (CTO), the company raised a $9M seed in 2024 and an $18M Series A, followed by a $310M Series B in June 2026 at a $1.45B valuation, for roughly $337M total. Backers include GV, DCVC, Air Street Capital, EQT Ventures, Amazon, NVIDIA and AMD.
