Oxa, formerly Oxbotica, is a University of Oxford spinout building self-driving software for industrial and commercial mobility, automating repetitive workplace driving tasks such as moving goods in ports, airports, and manufacturing sites. Founded in 2014 by Paul Newman and Ingmar Posner, it is headquartered in Oxford. It raised a $140M+ Series C in 2023 (with Google's NVentures participating) and a $103M Series D in 2026 anchored by a $50M commitment from the UK National Wealth Fund, alongside IP Group, Hostplus, and bp Ventures. Its 'physical AI' platform focuses on B2B autonomous deployments in industrial environments.
