Sana (Sana Labs) builds AI-native knowledge and agent software for the workplace, with two main products: Sana Learning, an AI content and learning system, and Sana Agents, a platform that unifies multiple LLMs to automate repetitive knowledge tasks such as scanning email and summarising reports. Founded in Stockholm in 2016 by Joel Hellemark, it raised over $130M across rounds from investors including Menlo Ventures, NEA and EQT Ventures, reaching a roughly $500M valuation at its $55M Series C in 2024. Its tools have reached over 1 million users across hundreds of enterprises. Workday acquired Sana for $1.1B in November 2025, folding it into its agentic AI strategy.
