Trace
Trace is a context-aware orchestration platform that routes work between humans and AI agents within enterprise workflows, aiming to solve the agent-adoption gap by giving agents the context they need to operate across company systems. It starts by building a knowledge graph from a company's existing tools such as email, Slack and Airtable, then orchestrates tasks across people and agents in a single workflow. Founded in London in 2025 by a two-person team (CEO Tim Cherkasov and CTO Artur Romanov), Trace went through Y Combinator's S25 batch and raised a $3M seed round from YC, Zeno Ventures, Transpose, Goodwater, Formosa Capital and WeFunder. It reports over 550 active workflows across customers, used mainly for back-office automation such as account management, onboarding, document processing, HR screening and sales operations.
