Trent AI is a security company that protects AI agents and autonomous workflows from threats such as prompt injection, tool misuse, unintended actions, data exfiltration and privilege escalation across an agent's lifecycle. Its platform analyses system architecture, agent behaviour and data flows using a set of specialised agents that find exploits, rank vulnerabilities by severity, suggest fixes and monitor changes over time. Founded in 2025 by Eno Thereska, Neil Lawrence and Zhenwen Dai, the London-based startup emerged from stealth in 2026 with a $13M seed round led by LocalGlobe and Cambridge Innovation Capital, alongside angel investors from OpenAI, AWS, Databricks and Spotify.
